National Brain Injury Tour Discusses Concussion Prevention at Joliet Central High School

JOLIET, IL – This afternoon the Sarah Jane Brain Foundation presented their concussion prevention and awareness presentation “Concussions and You, On and Off the Field” to Joliet Central High School student athletes and coaches.

Around 80 student athletes were present as the Sarah Jane Brain Foundation’s Leslie Mabry showed the multimedia presentation and videos to the students, parents and coaches and answered their many questions about concussions and brain injuries.

Joliet High School coach, Brett Boyter, thanked the foundation for their important presentation advised the students to “take it seriously and be careful out there, always tell our trainer if you think you might have a concussion.”
